Dr. Haidar Mahmoud is certified by Canada’s Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He finished his residency training at the University of Toronto in 1995 and is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Mahmoud has also been an active staff member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Scarborough Hospital and was a chief of the department for ten years.

Dr. Mahmoud is an active lecturer for both medical students and residents in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto and has a special interest in quality improvement and patient safety. He was awarded The Scarborough Hospital Award of Excellence in Medical Education in 2013.

Dr. Mahmoud is highly skilled in Minimally Invasive Reproductive Surgery, with vast experience in treating uterine and pelvic-related matters.

Dr. Saeed Rahbar brings over 25 years of expertise in clinical embryology, having successfully established and managed IVF laboratories across various regions globally. With a PhD in Embryology and Histology, Dr. Rahbar is a trailblazer in the application of laser technology within clinical embryology. He has trained numerous distinguished embryologists and supervised IVF labs in Canada, the UK, and Qatar.

Dr. Rahbar has contributed significantly to the field through the publication and presentation of over 30 scientific papers, and he is a recipient of multiple research awards. His specific interests include the ultrastructure of the zona pellucida and the intricacies of embryo hatching. He possesses advanced technical expertise in all areas of clinical embryology, including IVF/ICSI, laser-assisted hatching, spermatid injection, blastomere biopsy, vitrification, cryobanking, and PGT, along with comprehensive quality control in Embryology and Andrology laboratories. His passion is apparent through his clinical work and his care for patients.

Dr. Huang earned her PhD in China and has been a dedicated embryologist since 1999, working at several prominent IVF centers. As one of the pioneering IVF embryologists in China, she has successfully led teams of andrologists and embryologists, making significant contributions to the field. Dr. Huang joined our team in 2019, where she continues to play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients, drawing on her extensive experience in embryology.

Dr. Huang remains actively engaged in advancing the field of IVF, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her position. Her commitment to patient care, combined with her leadership in embryology, ensures that she consistently delivers the highest standards of treatment and support to all of our patients.

Dr. Maryam Rahbar brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for reproductive health to our team. With a master’s degree in Clinical Embryology and a PhD in Women’s and Reproductive Health both from the University of Oxford, Dr. Rahbar is highly skilled in all aspects of infertility treatment. She is fully trained in the latest infertility technologies and is a registered member of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society. Her professional journey includes advisory roles for several innovative startups in the reproductive health sector, where she contributes her valuable insights to advance the field.

Dr. Rahbar is particularly passionate about fertility preservation, with a focus on social egg freezing. She is dedicated to empowering women by giving them greater control over their reproductive timelines, ensuring they have the flexibility to make informed decisions about their future. At our clinic, Dr. Rahbar is committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals and couples on their fertility journey, using her expertise to guide them through every step with compassion and professionalism.

Dr. Victor Mak is a distinguished Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Urologic Surgery. He holds a Master of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto and is recognized as a Clinician Investigator by the Royal College. Dr. Mak is among a select group of Canadian urologists with advanced fellowship training in male reproduction, andrology, sexual function, and microsurgery of the genitourinary tract.

His extensive research is published in leading international clinical and basic science journals. Previously, Dr. Mak served as an Assistant Professor and Surgeon-Scientist in the Division of Urology, Department of Surgery, at the University of Toronto. He is an active member of the Canadian Urological Association Guidelines Committee for the investigation and management of azoospermia and is recognized by the Canadian Urological Association and the Canadian Urologic Oncology Group as a Prostate Cancer Leader.

Currently, Dr. Mak chairs the Multi-disciplinary Cancer Conference Disease Site in Uro-oncology and the LASER Committee. He served as Chief of Urology in the Department of Surgery at Mackenzie Health from 2007 to 2017 and is the Cancer Care Ontario Prostate Champion for the Central Local Health Integration Network. Additionally, he provides expert consultation as a Urologist for the Mon Sheong Long-Term Care Facility in Richmond Hill.

In July 2016, Dr. Mak led a surgical team during a short-term medical mission in a remote Kenyan village, demonstrating his commitment to global health. He also serves on the Editorial Board of The Bio Accent Journal of Urology and Nephrology.

As the Office Manager, Simin ensures that every patient feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors. With a deep passion for patient care, Simin believes in treating each individual like family, fostering an environment of warmth, compassion, and support.

With years of experience in healthcare administration, Simin brings exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to the role. Whether coordinating appointments, assisting with patient inquiries, or managing day-to-day operations, Simin is committed to making every patient’s experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Ali serves as the Business Manager at our clinic, where he is responsible for overseeing the clinic’s operations to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care. With a degree in business and a strong background in management, Ali brings a strategic and organized approach to the clinic’s day-to-day functions.

Ali’s primary focus is on creating an efficient and seamless experience for both patients and staff. He works diligently behind the scenes to manage everything from financial planning and budgeting to staff coordination and resource allocation. Passionate about operational excellence, Ali is committed to upholding the clinic’s mission of providing compassionate, patient-centered care. His leadership and attention to detail helps maintain a welcoming and supportive environment, where every patient can feel confident in the quality of their fertility treatment journey.

Mina works closely with the medical team to coordinate and administer treatments, offering guidance and emotional support every step of the way. Her expertise and thorough understanding of fertility procedures, combined with a compassionate approach, helps to create a reassuring and positive experience for patients.
